The John Howard Society of Quebec is developing community housing projects in Montreal and Quebec City to provide a stable, safe, and supportive living environment for people who have been incarcerated and wish to continue their journey toward social reintegration.
These projects offer medium and long-term housing in a structured environment, with an on-site team of intervention workers and peer support workers providing psychosocial support and helping residents build a positive and respectful living environment. Particular attention is also given to fostering positive relationships with the surrounding neighbourhood.
